The Haute List is a big fan of Yotam Ottolenghi. We often frequent his eponymous restaurants in Notting Hill & Islington for yummy middle-eastern inspired salads and gorgeous baked treats. His gilded outpost in Piccadilly; NOPI, is the place to go for delicious nosh like roasted butternut squash with cardamom yoghurt and pecans.
What we particularly like about Ottolenghi’s cooking is the love he gives to the humble vegetable. We’re not vegetarians, but when we want a break from chicken breasts and salmon fillets we always turn to his cookbook, Plenty. He crafts complex and delicious meat-free recipes that will change the way you cook veggies.
